We have a passion for the youth in our area. We have three kids  who we adore, and we learned very quickly that if we do not show them God’s love now…someone else will show them the love of the world. It was early on in our walk with Christ together that Tony and I knew we had a calling for youth. Tony and I came from very different backgrounds and have had our share of struggles. However, through the love of God, with His mercy, we can use our life experiences to have an impact on the teens around us.

We have a great community of youth with HUGE hearts who, with God on their side, can make a difference in our community and the world. Our teens have a heart for Christ that can change lives around them. Some of our teens have grown up in Christian homes and have known the love of God all their lives. Some needed someone to believe in them, stand beside them, and say, “the decisions you made yesterday don’t have to define who you are today”. We are proud to be their support. We love all of our teens as if they were our own flesh and blood. We are here to teach these teens about Christ and His love, and the freedom of living God’s will every day.

Our youth group thrives on the motto “Normal Is Not Enough”  We came up with this motto after a youth conference we attended several years ago that impacted our kids more then we could have ever expected. God’s Word teaches us why being “Normal” is not enough when you’re walking with Christ. How? Normal can be worldly. It is normal for our youth to be offered drugs and alcohol. It is normal to have teenage friends who are drinking, smoking, and having sex. It is normal to deal with things at school that we would not have dreamed to be socially acceptable when we were going up. So “Normal” is not enough for our kids. Youth CAN make a difference! They can be a light every day wherever they are. God says in Jeremiah 29:11 “I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper, not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.” Our youth ARE our future. They can be the light to someone who has never experienced God’s love. 1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” Do not allow your youth to be Normal….Normal Is Not Enough! Come join us!.
